All outpatient diagnostic radiology procedures are accessed through the new Outpatient Center. The Center provides expanded and consolidated radiological services and features a private women's center for mammography and bone density testing.
Accredited Vascular Lab
Lexington Memorial's Vascular Lab is accredited by The Intersocietal Commission for the Accreditation of Vascular Laboratories (ICAVL). The department holds accreditations encompassing carotid duplex, venous duplex and arterial imaging. A total of 45 vascular labs across North Carolina are accredited, sixteen of which are hospital-based labs. Lexington Memorial's vascular laboratory joins a select number of vascular labs across the United States, Canada and Puerto Rico to meet or exceed the ICAVL stands for noninvasive vascular testing. Early detection of life-threatening vascular diseases is possible through the use of noninvasive vascular testing techniques performed within the vascular laboratory. It is an integral part of the diagnosis of cardiovascular disease, the leading cause of death in the United States.
Accredited Mammography Services
Lexington Memorial's Mammography Department is accredited by the American College of Radiologists. The accreditation ensures the highest level of mammography imaging.
