Nutrition Therapy

Lexington Memorial has three Registered Dietitians who provide both inpatient and outpatient nutrition therapy and counseling. The department also offers weekly Diabetes Management Classes to assist diabetics in understanding the disease process and the importance of diet in controlling it.

Diabetes Management Program
Our Certified Diabetes Educator and Registered Clinical Dietitian lead this in-depth course designed to provide diabetes education to people with Type 2 diabetes or others wishing to learn more about this disease and its management. All aspects of diabetes management are covered in this course. Classes are offered weekly. Call 238.4409 for information or to enroll.
