Registered Nurse. Critical Care. Weekend Plus Night Opportunity. Incumbent will work a 12-hour shift on Saturdays and Sundays plus an additional 12-hour shift on a weeknight. Work schedule is 7:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m.
The Registered Nurse is responsible and accountable for direct and indirect nursing care of patients. She/he is also responsible for the direction and supervision of personnel assigned to her/him.
Minimum qualifications include: graduate of an accredited School of Nursing, current North Carolina Registered Nurse license and ACLS certification. Applicants must have a minimum of one year of previous professional nursing experience in an acute care setting.

Clinical Dietitian. Nutritional Services. Full-time Position. Work schedule is 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on Mondays through Fridays. Additionally, this position requires working every third Saturday morning from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon and then being on-call from 12:00 noon to 4:30 p.m. on Saturday afternoon and from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on the following Sunday.
The Clinical Dietitian is responsible for collaborating with members of the health care team to provide nutrition therapy. Identifies patients at moderate to high nutrition risk as outlined by the hospital. Assesses nutritional requirements and deficiencies according to age and disease-specific needs. Develops and implements nutrition care plans and monitors the effectiveness and outcomes of medical nutrition therapy interventions. Provides nutrition education to patient and family members on appropriate food selections and eating behaviors to accomplish patient goals. Manages the delivery of nutrition care. Participates in performance improvement. Supervises dietetic technician and signs off on all patient charting in 48 to 72 hours. Mentors dietetic interns/students. Assesses, evaluates, and maintains professional development and competency.
Minimum qualifications include the following: Registered Dietitian or registry-eligible by the American Dietetic Association. Good interpersonal communication skills and good writing skills. Licensed Dietetics Nutritionist with the state of North Carolina preferred.

Coordinator of Performance Improvement. Quality Management. Full-time, exempt position. Work hours are generally 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Mondays through Fridays, although, some evening and weekend hours may be required.
Our Coordinator of Performance Improvement will assist with planning and implementation of the hospital's continuous performance improvement programs. Our incumbent will provide leadership to Department Managers and hospital staff regarding performance improvement and patient safety activities, coordinate data collection and entry for external databases, and will assist with the coordination of Joint Commission Accreditation activities and survey readiness.
Minimum qualifications include: Bachelor's Degree preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience, minimum of five years of previous professional experience in health care, preferably having held both clinical and management positions, and documented experience in analysis functions and performance improvement activities.
