Mission Statement
The Critical Care Services mission is to provide quality patient care in an environment conscious of community and organizational goals through compassion, knowledge, teamwork, and positive thinking.

The Environment
The Critical Care Unit provides care of patients requiring close monitoring for illnesses affecting the heart, lungs, or other vital functions of the body. Some of these illnesses require closer and more extension observation and monitoring. The Critical Care Unit is comprised of 16 Intensive Care beds and is currently in the process of expanding and adding 5 additional beds. All rooms are Intensive Care Rooms.

Monitoring
The Critical Care Unit features the latest in patient monitoring equipment including bedside heart monitors and breathing machines. Even the bed itself allows nurses and doctors to constantly monitor important factors and functions, which indicate how the patient is responding to the care they are receiving. This technology can sometimes be overwhelming to our patients and their family members. The nurses are always willing to offer explanations and assistance in order for you to have an understanding and appreciation of the technology available for the total recovery of our patients.

Waiting Area
The Critical Care Waiting Area is located on Hall 1, near the front lobby. A phone is available for placing local calls.
